Grow It! @RRPL is the community hub for economic discovery and growth.
This is a collaborative effort between the Public Libraries and the City of Rio Rancho's Office of Economic Development. It brings together the information expertise found at the library and continues the City's efforts to invest in small businesses and the community. Grow it! consists of a variety of entrepreneurial focused programs, spaces for meeting and mentoring, and provides a wealth of resources. It is a division of Grow It! New Mexico. Join us and grow.
Events at the Library
The Loma Colorado Main Library hosts a number of business-focused programs. Programs are concentrated on building connections and providing co-working space for small business owners and employees.

WESST Small Business Workshops
WESST runs a series of programs on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. There is optional registration through their website. WESST is a non-profit which provides consulting and training for Sandoval county residents interesting in starting or growing businesses.
Mentoring SCORE offers 1:1 mentoring with retired business experts. Meetings are often held at the library.
Rio Rancho & Sandoval County are home to a number of resources to help start and grow businesses.
Business License & Registration
A direct link to the City Clerk's office, through which businesses are registered. They include detailed information as well as the necessary forms.
Sandoval County Small Business Development Center
The SBDC provides free business counseling, and assists clients in prospering in the community and growing the economy of New Mexico. A list of local resource partners is maintained on their webpage.

Veterans Business Outreach Center
A division of the NM Department of Veterans Services, the Business Outreach Center provides entrepreneurial development services to transitioning service members, veterans, National Guard and Reserve and military spouses interested in starting or growing a small business.
Small Business Administration
The U.S. SBA was created to aid, counsel, assist, and protect the interests of small business concerns. The Small Business Planner and Tools categories have information and resources that address every stage of the business life cycle. The site also offers financial, disaster, and counseling assistance as well as other services. Most helpful is the link to local resources that helps identify SBA district and regional offices and Small Business Development Centers at the state level. The New Mexico chapter puts out an annual Small Business Resource Guide.
