The Crime Victims Assistance Unit (CVAU) and the Sandoval County Sheriff's Office have been working together since 2015 to provide assistance and
advocacy for crime victims who qualify for
Domestic Violence Orders of Protection.
The CVAU recognizes the many obstacles victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking face while navigating the process to seek an Order of Protection. All residents of Sandoval County have the benefit of being able to work with one of the Police Department’s Crime Victims Advocates (CVA).
The CVAU is able to assist all law enforcement agencies within Sandoval County with victim advocacy.
