The City of Rio Rancho is taking precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus, several of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services programs and events have been postponed or cancelled.

The City of Rio Rancho is taking preventive measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Until further notice, the following facilities, playgrounds and parks through the Parks, Recreation and Community Services department are closed.

  • Rio Rancho Sports Complex, 3501 High Resort Boulevard

  • Star Heights Recreation Center, 800 Polaris Blvd. SE

During this time, City personnel at City Hall will still provide services to citizens electronically or by phone. Other City services, such as emergency services, road repair and maintenance, utilities billing, and Development Services-related will continue to be fully operational.
